A. Motivation

picture puzzles like of a tree, cow and cassava

Let the pupils remove the contents inside the refrigerator and group them as to
breads, fruits, vegetables, drinks and meats
Say: The refrigerator is invented with a purpose; to preserve foods.

Dindo and Linda stayed in their grandfather’s farm last weekend. They had a happy time with their grandfather.
“ I ate papaya in the morning. The papayas in grandfather’s farm are very sweet, too.The guavas are big and yellow,” said Dindo.
“ Mother , we had good times with Grandfather and Grandmother in the farm,” said Linda.
“We fed the pigs and the chickens. We took the cows to the grassy plain,” said Dindo. We went out to the field. We picked wild flowers,” Linda said.
“Now you are back home. Go back to your books and to your lessons,” Mother said.
